We want you to enjoy your Okinawa RV adventure safely and without stress. Please read the following guidelines carefully before your trip.

Reservations & Cancellations

• If you are more than 1 hour late without notice for pick-up, your booking may be canceled.

• In the event of vehicle damage, maintenance issues, or severe weather, Okinawa RV may cancel your booking. You will receive a refund (minus the transaction fee) or may reschedule within 6 months.

• We reserve the right to decline any booking request.

• If for some reason we have to cancel your booking due to maintenance issues we will try our best to find another vehicle for your trip but we can't guarantee that we will have something available. In this case a refund would be Issued and we are not liable to  to pay for any inconveniences or charges that may occur do to the circumstances.  

Driver Requirements

• A valid driver’s license must be presented at pick-up (we will make a copy).

• Drivers must have at least 3 years of driving experience.

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

• We reserve the right to refuse service for reasons including: unsafe driving history, unpaid debts, previous issues with Okinawa RV, or gang affiliation.

Vehicle Use

• The rental vehicle must not be:

  • Rented out to another person

  • Taken outside of Japan

  • Used for illegal activity

• Pets are not allowed unless you receive prior permission.

• Baby/child seats must be installed by the customer. Okinawa RV is not liable for installation or usage.

• Please listen carefully to instructions about how to operate the RV and its accessories.

Fines, Tickets & Accidents

• Customers are responsible for all traffic tickets and police fines during the rental period. Copies of fines must be sent to Okinawa RV.

• In the event of an accident or breakdown, you must notify Okinawa RV immediately.

• Do not take the vehicle to outside repair shops. All repairs must go through Okinawa RV’s mechanics.

• In case of an accident, do not make a private settlement without contacting Okinawa RV first.

• If damage is caused by misuse or driver error, no refunds will be given.

• In cases of natural disaster, we may provide flexibility with refunds but Okinawa Rv will make the final decision for refunds.

Return Policy

• Vehicles must be returned on time and on the agreed date. Late returns will incur additional charges.

• The gas tank must be refilled  nearby your drop-off location before return. If not, Okinawa RV will charge for fuel. (half tank 3,000Yen - Under half tank 6,000Yen)

• Additional fees apply for:

  • Late returns

  • Vehicle damage (inside or outside)

  • Non-operation fees (when a vehicle cannot be rented due to damage)

  • Pick-up from a different location (if requested by the renter)

If you get into an accident you’ll need to pay -

the Liability for Someone’s property +the Fixing fee for the vehicle +None operation fee
* We don’t refund the rental fee for the days left in your booking if and when you need to return your vehicle in case of an accident.

*When the RV needs to be repaired keep in mind that this is a specialty vehicle and pricing can be higher than most vehicle repairs so please be mindful, drive slowly, cautiously and responsibly.

* In case of bodily injury due to the use of the rental Okinawa RV is not liable or responsible for any and all insurance claims, lawsuits etc.  The renter must use their own insurance for medical issues as a result of operating our rentals.
