We’ve got some Inquiry's from our camping car rental customers about visiting a spa or "Okinawa Onsen" while camping. So I went to go check one out and got some much needed Okinawa relaxation!
We don't have a hot shower inside of our Okinawa RV rentals but most campsites provide a hot shower facility , some road rest stop parking areas as well as some beaches off showers which makes RV camping in Okinawa cost effective and easy. But if you likw the finer things in life we definitely recommend going to a spa so please go and check out these spots!
Here's a nice spa in Okinawa.This spa is located inside of the EM wellness hotel. The parking lot for this Okinawa onsen is left at ''P4''.
Here is a photo of the entrance to the spa. You'll need to take off your shoes and check in.
The fee is 1500 yen/adult and 1000 yen/ kid( 4 years & older ).
Did you know that if you have a tattoo you'll need to cover it with a sticker which is sold at reception desk. But if you have a big Tatoo going to an Okinawan Onsen might be difficult.
There's a nice rest area outside and you'll need to wear your outfit or bath cloths which is provided for you by this Spa. You can do "Earthing " on these chairs!!! The black mat will reset your electronic level. So intriguing isn't it?!
I usually do "Earthing " on the beach or in the grass so this expericence was new and fun for me. I felt like my body was reset and I felt lighter after grounding myself here in these chairs.
Oh, also！Don't miss the Onigiri (Rice ball) that you can get at reception desk only on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Okinawa Rice balls are really delicious!

The Next Spa/Onsen is located on Ikei island which is the East side of Okinawa.
You can drive to a lot of the surrounding islands via a bridge with our RVs.
It's a good thing this spa has private all natural onsen Rooms! You'll need to book at the reception your secure your spot. If you have tattoo's or don't want to share a spa with strangers this would be a perfect choice!
The fee is 3000 yen for 90 minutes.
You can also enjoy the Okinawa ocean view while you soak!

The Last spa is located on the East coast as well. There's a laid-back and peaceful area on the east coast called " Ginoza". Have you heard "Thalasso"theraphy? It comes from theGreek word means " SEA".
It refers to variety of treatments using sea-salt water and see-weed.
If you don't have a swimming suite you can rent a pair at the reception.
There is many sections here at the onsen such as a lap Pool, Sauna and baths Hot/cold etc..
The fee is 2400yen /adult , 1300 yen (3y-12y)
